Job description
Scope of Work

This role provides field technical support for OTR tire applications across mining sites in Indonesia. The engineer is responsible for monitoring product performance, reporting, conducting training, and supporting customers with tire-related solutions.

Responsibilities
  1. Performance Report & Monitoring
    • Regularly visit customer mining sites to monitor OTR tire usage
    • Collect performance data directly from customers, operators, and users involved in tire usage
    • Prepare performance reports during mounting, mid-life, and end-of-life stages.
    • Provide conclusions and improvement recommendations based on findings.
  2. Customer Application & Product Proposal
    • Review and analyze customer site conditions and applications.
    • Develop tailored product proposals to optimize tire performance and cost efficiency.
  3. Scrap Tire & Claim Management
    • Inspect scrap tires and prepare scrap tire reports with root cause analysis.
    • Manage tire claim investigations and prepare claim reports for customer and internal reference.
  4. Customer & Partner Training
    • Provide technical training sessions to customers and business partners regarding tire usage, maintenance, and safety practices.
    • Support customers with best practices in tire management and handling.
    • Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams (Sales, R&D, Technical). Deliver feedback and recommendations for continuous product improvement.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and strengthen long-term partnerships.
Work Arrangement

Office-based with frequent travel to mining sites (up to 70%). Travel will cover multiple regions across Indonesia depending on project/customer needs.

Working base: Jakarta Utara with business trip over Indonesia

Qualification
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and Bahas a Indonesia is required.
