Job description

Identify, approach, and acquire new merchant partners in the banking and financial technology ecosystem (payment, switching, core banking, lending, etc.).

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing merchant partners to increase engagement and transaction volume.

Conduct needs analysis with merchant partners to match business requirements with IT banking solutions provided by the company.

Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and partnership agreements with merchant partners.

Collaborate with internal teams (technical, product, and operations) to ensure smooth onboarding, integration, and support for merchant partners.

Monitor and analyze merchant performance, generate reports, and recommend strategies for improvement.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the banking & fintech sector.

Support the company’s revenue growth targets by delivering high-quality merchant acquisition and retention strategies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership, preferably in banking, fintech, or IT solutions.

Have understanding of Payment solutions (e.g., payment gateway, switching, or digital lending).

Proven track record in merchant/partner acquisition and account management.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (technical, product, finance).

Results-oriented, target-driven, and able to work under minimal supervision.
