A construction company in Jakarta Timur is looking for an experienced MEP Manager to oversee MEP operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 20 years of experience in the construction field, with a strong background in high-rise buildings and technical communication in English. Responsibilities include reviewing design drawings, conducting site visits, providing guidance, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Min. 20 years of experience as MEP Engineer for Construction.
• Experience handling high-rise buildings, warehouses, and data centers.
• Min. 5 years in a managerial position and last 5 years in Head Office.

Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate MEP Design drawings.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance.
• Prepare site visit reports.
• Provide guidance on MEP systems.

Job description

Our client is a Construction Company. Currently, they are looking for MEP Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and coordinate MEP Design drawings.
• Analyze drawings to ensure the system are properly integrated.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure all MEP operations are as per standard.
• Prepare site visit reports (issue, progress, recommendations).
• Provide guidance to site engineers and contractors on MEP systems, installation methods, and troubleshooting.
• Assist in resolving technical issues that arise during construction.
• Liaise with procurement and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance for approved MEP materials and equipment.
• Track MEP work progress against project timelines and milestones.
• Ensure all MEP works comply with local codes, international standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure an effective MEP operations and progress.
• Other responsibilities as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil).
• Business English proficiency (able to communicate with foreigners regarding technical matters).
• Min. 20 years of experience as MEP Engineer for Construction, experienced in handling high rise building, warehouse, and data center, with min. 5 years as Manager and the last 5 years positioned in Head Office.
• Not a job hopper (stayed at least 5 years in one company), and willing to travel for work (project site visit).
• Good communication skill, good leadership skill, committed, active and healthy.

Preferable Skill / Experience:

• Working experience in foreign Construction company.
