Job description

Manage, coordinate and organize the security method to protect goods, assets, employee, contractors of PT Vale Indonesia in Sorowako area to ensure that the company’s operational can run properly without any disruption or obstacle in achieving company its objective in accordance with rules and regulations.

Accountabilities
  • Manage the Security Services team to identify, develop, implement, and maintain security processes, practices and policies throughout the organization to mitigate risk, respond to incidents, and protect the organization from exposure to informational, financial, physical, personal, and reputational risks.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure security systems comply with applicable requirements and regulations, and plan for long-term security conditions.
  • Direct the development of strategies to assess and mitigate risk, manage crises and incidents, and ensure continuity of operations for the organization.
  • Liaise with law enforcement officials and international partners to ensure national security and intelligence cooperation and the private sector.
  • Submit monthly reports to management based on coordination with all relevant departments, such as investigations, intelligence, asset protection, and security devices.
  • Manage security contractor performance through monthly KPI reviews, training, safety briefings, internal and external security audits and coordination with contractor management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Minimum Bachelor's degree from any major.
  • Minimum 8 (eight) years of experience at a managerial level.
  • Preferably have a GADA Utama certification or relevant license in the field of security services.
  • Skilled in managing stressful situations and handling incidents with a deep understanding of security issues and appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Knowledge and experience related to the Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (SMK3L) is preferred.
  • Experienced in incident response, risk assessment, and risk management.
  • Strong understanding of trends, technologies, and best practices in the field of security.
  • Resilient with a solid technical knowledge base and good analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Computer literate, experienced in MS Office Application (Word, Excel, Power Point).

PTVI operates under a Contract of Work, which was amended with a Special Mining Business Permit (IUPK) on May 13, 2024. The contract is valid until December 28, 2035, and the concession covers an area of 118,017 hectares covering South Sulawesi (70,566 hectares), Central Sulawesi (22,699 hectares) and Southeast Sulawesi (24,752 hectares).

The Company mines laterite nickel ore and processes it into the final product of nickel in matte.

The Company also continues its plan to developing integrated mining practices through the Indonesia Growth Project (IGP) in Morowali, Central Sulawesi and in Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi.
