A leading logistics firm is seeking a Head of Logistics in Kalimantan Utara. The role involves developing a logistics plan, managing tender documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years in logistics or supply chain roles, with strong skills in logistics planning and customs clearance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of logistics planning and cargo consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Logistic Plan that aligns with budgets.
• Prepare and manage tender documentation for selection of Forwarders.
• Establish and maintain delivery time standards.
• Design an optimal cargo consolidation system.
• Implement and oversee a fuel management system.
• Minimize losses related to damage and dead freight.
• Supervise the activities of the Logistic Supervisor.
• Ensure operations comply with regulations and policies.
• Expedite shipping documents for customs clearance.

Job description

Develop and implement a Logistic Plan that aligns with project budgets and schedules.

Prepare and manage tender documentation for the selection of Forwarders, PPJK, and Local Transporters.

Establish and maintain delivery time standards to ensure on-schedule performance.

Design an optimal cargo consolidation system for efficient delivery.

Implement and oversee a fuel management system for daily project operations.

Minimize losses related to damage, dead freight, and demurrage.

Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Logistic Supervisor.

Ensure all logistics operations comply with relevant regulations and company policies.

Expedite shipping documents for customs clearance and liaise with the Importation and Customs Clearance team.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, with proven expertise in transportation and customs clearance in EPC Industries.

Strong knowledge of logistics planning and cargo consolidation.

Proficient in preparing tender documents and managing vendor selection processes.

Solid understanding of customs clearance procedures and fuel management.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Proficiency in SAP.

Certifications in Supply Chain or Logistics (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) would be an added value.
