We are seeking a talented Linux Engineer to join our dynamic team at PT GLOBAL HEFATEK INDONESIA'. As a Linux Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our robust Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of our mission‑critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux-based servers, including web servers, application servers, and databases
• Implement and configure network services such as DNS, DHCP, and VPNs
• Automate and streamline IT operations using scripting and configuration management tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high availability and performance of our Linux systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address infrastructure challenges
• Continuously research and implement new technologies to enhance the efficiency and security of our Linux infrastructure
• Provide technical guidance and support to fellow team members and end‑users

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator or Linux Engineer
• Strong proficiency in administering and troubleshooting Linux-based operating systems, such as CentOS, Red Hat, or Ubuntu
• Extensive knowledge of Linux system administration, including user management, file system management, and package management
• Hands‑on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Familiarity with network services and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl for automation and system integration
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
