Overview
We are seeking a Legal & Contract Specialist to support our construction projects, with a particular focus on façade systems. This role is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents and contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in construction law, and capable of managing legal and contractual matters across multiple simultaneous projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a construction company.
- Strong understanding of legal aspects in construction projects, including subcontracting, imported materials, and technical work contracts.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to draft and review legal documents in English.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Meticulous, communicative, and able to coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders (e.g., project owners, main contractors, consultants).
Key Responsibilities
- Legal Responsibilities: Draft, review, and manage legal documents related to construction projects, including contracts with main contractors and subcontractors; cooperation agreements (e.g., MoUs, NDAs); supplier and material purchase agreements; prepare legal documentation to support project claims; contract variations and addenda; coordination of the submission and extension of the bid guarantee and down payment guarantee; ensure that all contracts and legal agreements include terms and conditions that protect the company’s interests.
- Document Control Responsibilities: Ensure all legal and project documents (both physical and digital) are accurately filed, well-organized, and maintained according to company standards; collaborate with engineering, site, and main contractor teams to verify the completeness and accuracy of project documentation; support project audits and tender evaluations by preparing and submitting required legal and technical documents in a timely manner.
