Responsibilities
IT Systems & Infrastructure
- Install, configure, and maintain IT systems including servers, storage, and backup solutions.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of IT services (Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity).
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and maintenance
Network & Connectivity
- Maintain and support network infrastructure (LAN, Wi‑Fi).
- Ensure reliable connectivity across offices and operational areas.
- Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues.
Application & System Support
- Make sure that infrastructure and network are reliable and 24/7 available for the operations and business purposes by :
- Support L1 business and operational applications : being the key contact between end-users and applications Support team and make a first technical analysis
- Manage user access, system configurations, and application permissions.
- Performing on‑site technical support
- Troubleshooting and fault finding if issues arise
- Coordinate system upgrades and changes with minimal service disruption.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection
- Implement basic cybersecurity controls and access management.
- Ensure regular system backups and data protection.
- Support incident response related to IT security or system failures.
IT Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide technical support to users for IT systems, workspaces and applications.
- Diagnose and resolve system, hardware, and software technical issues.
- Escalate complex issues to vendors, senior IT staff or application support teams when required
- Maintain IT documentation, asset records, and standard procedures.
- Suggest improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
- Support IT projects and technology improvements as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in IT system or infrastructure support.
- Experience in IT systems for servers, storage, and backup solutions is a must.
- Experience in access control systems will be advantage.
- Experience in container terminal seaport, industrial, logistics, or 24/7 operational environments is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willing to provide on-call or standby support if required
- Proven experience in incident management, service request management and troubleshooting
- Experience working in a Microsoft Systems Engineering role (Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, Windows 11)
- Experience of virtualization hypervisors (VMWare or Hyper‑V)
- Working knowledge of DNS and DHCP deployments and best practice
- Experience with Citrix troubleshooting and RDP
- Network knowledge (firewall maintenance / LAN, Wifi)
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
