Industrial Relations Manager (Shipyard Company - Medan Based)

Adecco Indonesia is currently supporting a local maritime/shipyard company to find an Industrial Relations Manager to be placed in Medan.

Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws and regulations, maintaining harmonious employee–management relations.

Handle disputes, grievances, and disciplinary matters through effective mediation and resolution.

Build and maintain strong relationships with government institutions, labor unions, and external stakeholders.

Provide guidance to management on IR strategies and policies to support business continuity and minimize labor risks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Law, Psychology, or Human Resources Management.

Minimum 6 years of experience in Industrial Relations or Human Capital Management with strong IR exposure.

Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, regulations, and union relations.

Excellent negotiation, mediation, and communication skills, with resilience and integrity.

Adaptive, business-minded, and committed to supporting organizational sustainability in a dynamic environment.

Good communication skill and fluent English speaking
