Job summary

Qualifications

Minimum bachelor’s degree from a reputable university, preferably in Human Resources Management, Law, Psychology, or related field.

At least 5 years of professional experience in Human Resources, with significant exposure to Industrial Relations and Compensation & Benefits.

Proven ability to manage employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in compliance with labor laws.

Strong knowledge of labor laws, government regulations, and industrial relations practices, with experience in liaising with government institutions and labor unions.

Demonstrated skills in negotiation, mediation, and collective bargaining, ensuring fair and constructive outcomes for both employees and management.

Experience in policy development and implementation, particularly related to employee relations, compliance, and workplace regulations.

Solid background in Compensation & Benefits administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company policies.

High level of analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic recommendations to management.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling HR documentation, contracts, and compliance reports.

Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both written and verbal).

Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees, managers, external partners, and labor unions.

Strong sense of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in managing sensitive HR and IR matters.

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results within deadlines.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures related to industrial relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company regulations.

Act as a liaison between management and employees/union representatives, fostering constructive communication and resolving workplace issues effectively.

Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, in line with company policies and legal requirements.

Collaborate with department managers to identify workforce needs and provide guidance on job descriptions, staffing, and employee development.

Oversee HR administrative functions, including maintaining accurate employee records (attendance, leave, permissions) and ensuring compliance with documentation standards.

Manage compensation and benefits administration, confirming payroll sources in accordance with employment contracts, internal memos, and regulatory changes.

Ensure accurate payroll processing, including wages, deductions, overtime, THR, and bonuses, in compliance with company policies and local labor regulations.

Support recruitment activities when required, including candidate screening and interview coordination, while ensuring alignment with organizational standards.

Provide guidance and support to HR staff, fostering teamwork, continuous improvement, and professional development within the HR department.

Monitor and report HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, employee relations cases) to management, providing insights for decision-making.

Maintain high standards of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive HR and IR matters.
