About The Role

This role is responsible to provide Health & Safety functional support to Sites towards achieving the safety objective of “Everyone Safe Everyday”, compliance with the company policy and procedures, and to meet legislative requirements.


In this role you will:


  • Represent the company in government or industry safety groups and programs

  • Responsible to facilitate the health and safety of employees through education, training and demonstration of the right behaviours

  • Manage relationship with Projects and their subcontractors to facilitate compliance to Thiess safety systems

  • Direct, instruct and mentor project staff to ensure that Synergy database is utilised, accurate, and up to date

  • Ensure KPI’s are reported monthly and take action to address areas of non-achievement of KPI’s


About You


  • Tertiary-level qualifications in a safety, engineering or similar discipline

  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in a same role (in Client relations, Subcontract management, Project management)

  • Good time management

  • Good written & oral communication and presentation formatting skills
