About the role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our team at Pt Myamo Properti Indonesia' in Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara. As our Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading and managing all culinary operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our guests. What you’ll be doing
  • Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operation, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management
  • Develop and implement creative, high-quality menus that showcase the best of local and regional cuisine
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Manage and train a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and maintain a tight control on food and labour costs
  • Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
What we’re looking for
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior culinary role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful menus that cater to diverse customer preferences
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop kitchen staff
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Proficient in cost control, inventory management, and budgeting
