LinkPricer is a free backlink market intelligence platform that aggregates pricing, supplier data, and ratings from multiple backlink marketplaces. We're building the world's most transparent backlink marketplace and evolving into a universal procurement layer for SEO teams.

Stage: Early-stage, post-pivot (previously dual business model, now 100% focused on LinkPricer)

Team: 6 people, lean and mission-driven

Business Model: 100% free for users, revenue from transaction commissions and service fees

Current Priority: User acquisition + marketplace partnerships to enable transaction revenue

Target Users: Freelance SEOs, small agencies, SEO practitioners who need transparent backlink pricing data

Role Overview

We're looking for a strategic growth leader who can build and execute the plan to grow LinkPricer's user base from hundreds to thousands (and eventually tens of thousands). This isn't a "run ads and post on social" role — this is about identifying what will actually drive user acquisition, building the strategy from scratch, and owning execution.

You’ll have full ownership of user growth and a small marketing support team. You’ll work directly with the CEO/Founder on positioning and thought leadership, and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Partnerships teams.

This role is critical right now because: We need users to activate our revenue model (transactions), and we need users to attract marketplace partnerships. User growth unlocks everything else.

What makes this role different: You won’t just execute tactics—you’ll think backward from metrics, identify the most effective growth paths, and own the strategy. You’ll justify budget allocation with data, not guesswork. You’ll make strategic decisions, not wait for instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • User Growth & Acquisition: Own new user growth end-to-end through content and SEO, communities, paid acquisition, partnerships, PR, and product-led viral mechanics, with a strong focus on onboarding, activation, and conversion optimization.
  • Growth Strategy & Execution: Define and execute the growth strategy by identifying high-impact channels, prioritizing initiatives, setting monthly targets, allocating resources effectively, and making data-driven decisions based on core metrics.
  • Performance & Budget Ownership: Manage marketing budgets with clear ROI accountability, optimize acquisition costs by user segment, track performance through dashboards and reporting, and continuously identify bottlenecks and opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with Product, Data, Partnerships, and the CEO to deliver product-led growth initiatives, run experiments, unlock co-marketing opportunities, and strengthen founder and company positioning.
  • Brand & Authority Building: Position LinkPricer as a trusted, data-driven SEO authority through clear messaging, original research, industry reports, and consistent company, product, and founder branding.
  • Team & Scaling: Lead execution across content, community, and social, establish efficient processes and feedback loops, coach contributors, and determine when to hire or outsource to support growth.
Required Qualifications

Strategic Thinking & Execution:

  • 3-5+ years of growth marketing experience, ideally in early-stage B2B SaaS, marketplace, or PLG companies
  • Proven track record of building user acquisition strategies from scratch (not just executing someone else's plan)
  • Data-driven decision maker: Comfortable with analytics, A/B testing, cohort analysis, funnel optimization
  • Resourceful and scrappy: Can figure out how to grow with limited budget and team

Channel Expertise:

  • Strong content marketing and SEO skills — you've driven organic growth before
  • Community-building experience — comfortable engaging in forums, Reddit, Slack, Discord
  • Experience with multiple acquisition channels: paid ads, influencer marketing, partnerships, PR, viral mechanics
  • Understanding of PLG principles — how to turn product into growth engine

Leadership & Management:

  • Can manage and mentor a small team
  • Can make hiring and outsourcing decisions — know when to build in-house vs. contract out
  • Cross-functional collaboration — work effectively with Product, Data, Partnerships, Ops teams
  • Comfortable with ambiguity — early-stage startup means you'll need to figure things out

Industry & Audience Understanding:

  • Familiarity with SEO industry (don't need to be an SEO expert, but understand the audience and pain points)
  • B2B marketing experience is a plus (our users are professionals, not consumers)
  • Experience marketing to technical or practitioner audiences (developers, marketers, analysts, etc.)
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience in marketplace or two-sided platform growth (understanding supply/demand dynamics)
  • Background in data/analytics or product marketing (comfortable with research and insights)
  • Founder or founding team experience at a startup (comfortable with 0-to-1 building)
  • Experience building thought leadership and founder brands (coaching executives on content and positioning)
  • Strong writing skills — can create compelling content yourself if needed
  • Existing network in the SEO, digital marketing, or SaaS communities
  • Experience with European markets (our initial focus, though not exclusively)

  • Work Directly with Founder: You'll collaborate closely with the CEO on positioning, thought leadership, and strategy. Direct access, fast decisions, no bureaucracy.
