About the role

We are seeking a Governance Risk Compliance Manager to join our team at PT Multi Nitrotama Kimia. This full-time role will be based in South Jakarta, Jakarta. As the Governance Risk Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's governance, risk and compliance frameworks, ensuring we operate in accordance with relevant laws, regulations and internal policies.

Responsibilities

• Developing, implementing and maintaining robust governance, risk and compliance policies, procedures and systems
• Identifying, assessing and mitigating potential risks to the organisation
• Ensuring the company maintains compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and industry standards
• Formulate corporate governance (GCG) policy and procedure objectives to achieve company goals
• Maintain the principles of transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness in all company activities to ensure independence
• Submit governance reports to management, shareholders, and regulators to provide information
• Instruct improvements to the governance system to increase organizational effectiveness, including managing ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 18001
• Formulate risk management framework objectives in accordance with international standards (e.g., ISO 31000 or COSO ERM) to increase the company's trust among both B2B and B2C customers
• Providing expert advice and guidance to senior management on governance, risk and compliance matters
• Identify, evaluate, and instruct the mapping of strategic, operational, financial, occupational health and safety, environmental, legal, and reputational risks for integration purposes
• Develop risk mitigation strategy targets and ensure their implementation across all business units for synergy and alignment with corporate objectives
• Monitor the company's risk profile and provide regular reports to management and the board of commissioners
• Instruct the development of a risk awareness culture throughout the organization for preventive action
• Review all business activities for compliance with laws and regulations, government regulations, industry standards, and internal policies
• Monitoring and reporting on the company's compliance and risk profile
• Submitting compliance reports to regulators in a timely manner to reduce the risk of legal sanctions, fines, or license revocation due to non-compliance
• Carrying out duties and responsibilities assigned by superiors in accordance with the organization's objectives and applicable norms
• Implementing the code of conduct, Company Regulations, and other laws and regulations
• Identifying other tasks in accordance with reasonable instructions from superiors to ensure work targets are met
• Consistently maintaining an integrated quality management system, product quality, and the environment, occupational safety and health (OHS), and reporting all incidents (environmental, OHS, and fire) in accordance with applicable procedures to ensure quality, safety, and health are maintained
• Implementing the 5S concept (Seiri/Rice, Seiton/Neat, Seiso/Clean, Seiketsu/Rawat, Shitsuke/Diligent)
• Conducting risk assessments and audits to identify and address any compliance gaps
• Designing and delivering training programs to educate employees on governance, risk and compliance requirements
• Motivate, develop, and evaluate the capabilities and performance of subordinates to ensure they perform their work in accordance with job competencies and job descriptions
• Improve personal competency with the goal of increasing competency annually
• Improve relationships and communication with superiors and other departments to foster good cooperation among employees
• Review and test the BCP through the implementation of Drill & Test Simulation (DTS) in accordance with ISO 22301
• Liaising with regulatory authorities and maintaining positive relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Actuary, Engineering, or related fields (Master’s degree preferred)
• 10+ years' experience in a governance, risk and compliance management role, ideally within the managerial role services industry
• Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant laws, regulations and industry standards, Strategic Risk Management, Governance and Compliance Management, Internal Control & Audit
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective governance, risk and compliance frameworks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as law, finance or risk management
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Interest in the mining, chemicals, or industrial sectors
• Ability and excellent use of MS Office and other tools or software; technology awareness
• Preferably able to speak English well in written and oral form; professional certifications (CRMA, CIA, ERMCP, CGEIT, GRCP/GRCA, CISA, ISO 31000, 37001, 9001, 14001, 45001, 31000, 22301) are a plus
• Willing to work under pressure, have a good attitude, fast learner, and fast adapting; high initiative
• Willing to be placed in South Jakarta
