• Monitor movement on top policy priorities, state and local levels
• Represent Society at coalition meetings, partner meetings and briefings
• Develop and manage relationships with key state and local legislators and agency staff.
• Act as spokespeople and develop and maintain relationships with Stakeholders and other media members.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and relevant industry association
• Acting as a liaison between the organization and governmental bodies, focusing on lobbying efforts to influence policy decisions.
• Developing and implementing communication strategies that inform and engage the public about the mission, vision, and values of a public organization.
• Align corporate messaging with public interests and regulatory guidelines, enhancing the company's public image while ensuring stakeholders are inform about safety, and corporate social responsibility efforts.
• Monitoring public opinion and media coverage, advising senior management on potential impacts of decisions.
• Ensure that there are no security disturbances that result in the company's operations being halted
• Risk mapping, risk management, conflict resolution, and stakeholder register

Job Requirement

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Public Relations, Public Administration, Political Science or relevant studies
• Min 10 years of relevant work experience in communication, external relation and government relation
• Ability to work and collaborate in team environment, including with remote team members.
• Strong judgment/decision-making skills and political acumen
• Strategic thinking, being resilient and thriving in chaos.
• Strong skills in writing, speaking, research, analysis, creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.
• English speaker, Mandarin is a plus and preferred.
• Willing to be located in South Sumatera or Riau.
