We support thousands of people each year to access services across seven key domains – Mental Health, Aboriginal Health, Alcohol and/or other Drugs, Employment, Community Health, Disability, and Homelessness.

About Our Opportunities

Sonder is inviting Expressions of Interest from Mental Health Clinicians to join our team within our Northern Adelaide programmes. With new opportunities emerging in 2026, we are looking for applicants who are interested in supporting:

  • Family Mental Health
  • Adult Mental Health
  • Alcohol and Other Drug Support

Flexible hours: We welcome applicants with a variety of availability. Whether you want to work part‑time, full‑time, or something in between, we can support a schedule that works for you!

Locations: Range of locations in the Northern Adelaide Region.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mental health, including conducting psychosocial and risk assessments and delivering evidence‑based interventions (e.g., CBT).
  • Experience building strong, engaging relationships with clients, families, carers and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines and working in fast‑paced clinical environments.
  • Experience administering and interpreting psychometric tests, maintaining electronic records and applying organisational policies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mental health frameworks, National Standards for Mental Health Services and health promotion principles.

  • Occupational Therapy – with Mental Health Endorsement recognised by Occupational Therapy Australia
  • Nursing – Registered Nurse
