Job summary

A leading pulp and paper company in East Java is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to develop and implement effective sales strategies, manage a team, and build strong relationships with key customers. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of export sales leadership experience, preferably in the paper industry, and be fluent in English. This position will require regular travel within the region and offers competitive compensation.

Overview
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow company's export sales in your designated region
  • Manage a team of sales representatives and support staff to achieve ambitious revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and distribution partners
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, and adapt sales plans accordingly
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, and production teams to ensure seamless customer service
  • Provide regular performance reports and sales forecasts to senior leadership
  • Identify new business opportunities and proactively pitch company's products and services

Job Requirements:

  • Substantial experience (10+ years) in an export sales leadership role, preferably within the paper/pulp industry
  • Proven track record of achieving ambitious sales targets and growing market share in international markets
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities to identify new opportunities and adapt to market changes
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Willingness to travel regularly to key markets within your region
  • Willing to work in Mojokerto, East Java.
