A manufacturing company in Jakarta, Indonesia is looking for an experienced professional to manage and oversee all export/import operations and documentation. This role requires expertise in Indonesian customs, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in export-import/logistics, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing, and proficiency in export-import documentation. A leadership background is preferred as you coordinate processes with various stakeholders.
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Export–Import/Logistics, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs, INSW, HS codes, export permits, and free‑trade agreements.
Experienced in dealing with freight forwarders and shipping lines.
Proficient in export–import documentation and regulatory compliance.
Good analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Able to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
Leadership experience preferred.
Manage and oversee all export–import operations, documentation, and customs clearance for finished goods and raw materials.
Ensure compliance with Indonesian customs regulations, HS codes, trade laws, and international shipping requirements.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, government agencies, and internal departments for smooth export–import processes.
Prepare and review export documents (BL, COO, Packing List, Invoice, FTA certificates) and import documentation (PIB, COO, MSDS, etc.).
Monitor shipment schedules, container bookings, arrival timelines, and resolve logistics issues.
Optimize logistics costs, negotiate freight rates, and monitor cost effectiveness.
Lead export market documentation for overseas clients and distributors.
Prepare monthly reports related to shipment performance, costs, and compliance.
Improve and implement Exim SOPs and ensure audit readiness.
