About the job Construction and Earthwork Manager

The Construction and , EarthworkManagers, oversees and directs all aspects of large-scale earth-moving construction projects, including planning, execution and budget management, to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee detailed long-term and short-term production plans.
  • Coordinate all project resources, including personnel, heavy equipment, and construction materials.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures rigorously, and forecast costs to ensure strict adherence to financial objectives.
  • Lead, train, and mentor on-site teams and supervise subcontractors, ensuring high performance and adherence to project goals.
  • Monitor all work to guarantee the quality meets or exceeds contractual and design requirements.
  • Provide essential technical guidance and support to the on-site team, including overseeing equipment maintenance and operations.
  • Ensure all activities strictly comply with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, including conducting regular safety inspections and managing statutory responsibilities.
  • Serve as the primary liaison, effectively communicating project progress and addressing issues with clients, suppliers, corporate management, and government bodies.
  • Utilize strong independent problem-solving skills to adapt to changing environments and resolve complex issues under pressure.

Requirements:
