Job summary

A leading Agri-Tech startup in Indonesia is seeking a proactive Collection Supervisor to oversee collection activities and ensure regulatory compliance. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, strong negotiation skills, and a diploma in any field. Responsibilities include conducting debtor visits, analyzing payments, negotiating resolutions, and reporting. Knowledge of ethical practices and local area are essential. A personal vehicle and valid Class C driving license are required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma degree in any field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the collection process and ethical practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial and operational software tools.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visits to debtor’s registered addresses for collection activities.
  • Assess debtor’s repayment capacity and identify causes of delayed payments.
  • Meet performance targets set by the company.
  • Negotiate with debtors to resolve outstanding debts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for target achievement.
  • Prepare reports on debtor visits and assessments.
  • Adhere to company regulations in collection procedures.

What are we building

We are developing a platform which will help our field operations team to effectively manage their task, capture cultivation logs from million plus hectares of paddy fields, effectively manage the supply chain of agri‑inputs and aggregate third party services required during the lifecycle of paddy fields. The Current tech stack includes React Native for mobile applications, ReactJs for web app powered by Rest APIs developed with JAVA using Spring and Hibernate.

About Rize

Rize is looking for a proactive and results‑drive n Collection Supervis to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong field collection experience, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of debt management processes. You will be responsible for overseeing collection activities, driving performance, and ensuring full compliance with internal procedures and regulation

Responsibilities
A. Debt Collection Visits
  • Conduct visits to the debtor’s registered or other recorded addresses to carry out collection activities
B. Payment Analysis
  • Assess the debtor’s repayment capacity and identify the root causes of delayed payments
C. Target Achievement
  • Be accountable for meeting the performance targets set by the company
D. Negotiation with Debtors
  • Engage in effective negotiations with debtors and/or relevant parties to resolve outstanding debts
E. Internal Coordination
  • Maintain strong coordination with internal teams and relevant departments to support target achievement
F. Reporting
  • Prepare comprehensive and accurate reports on debtor visits and assessments
G. Compliance
  • Adhere strictly to all company regulations and internal collection procedures
Qualifications and Skills
  1. Minimum Diploma degree in any field
  2. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (SPPI certification is preferred)
  3. Strong understanding of the collection process and ethical collection practices
  4. High level of integrity and strong work ethics
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  6. Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and determine effective strategies
  7. Good knowledge of the local area and a strong local network
  8. Proficiency in using financial and operational software tools for reporting and monitoring
  9. Must have a personal vehicle (at least a motorcycle) and a valid Class C driving license
  10. Must be currently based in one of the following areas:
  11. Demak (covering Demak-Pati-Grobogan)
  12. Ngawi/Solo (covering Ngawi-Solo)
