Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer-Cloud Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services that support our organization's applications and workloads. You will work closely with software developers, system administrators and other stakeholders to ensure that our cloud environment is secure, reliable and cost-effective.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure and services to support applications and workloads.
- Collaborate with software developers, system administrators and other stakeholders to ensure a secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud environment.
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and architecture diagrams.
- Support proposals, presentations, and client meetings.
- Analyze and optimize cloud spend; develop and maintain pricing models.
- Ensure monitoring, incident response and ongoing reliability of cloud platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of work experience in cloud engineering or related field.
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Familiarity with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Industry-recognized cloud certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified - Cloud Engineer, etc.
- Experience analyzing and optimizing cloud spend; developing and maintaining pricing models.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and related tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with serverless computing technologies such as AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk or ELK Stack.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and related tools such as Istio or Linkerd.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
Good to have
