Clinical Application Specialist
JOB MAIN PURPOSE :
The Clinical Application Specialist is a clinical in‑house radiology knowledge expert in CT, CCL and MRI contrast media and fluid delivery systems (including PET). The role trains and supports Radiology customers, local sales, marketing, service teams, and distribution partners. Responsibilities include driving excellence in our entire CT, CV and MRI portfolio, increasing customer satisfaction and retention, supporting the Connectivity Platform‑Cortenic, and the Informatics platform (Image Acquisition Workflow Solutions, Nautilus and INSIGHTS). The specialist is an expert in Radiologic Clinical Application and liaises with OEM apps to deliver clinical product training and excellent customer support to meet business goals.
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be a radiology contrast media and fluid delivery systems clinical expert, developing strong relationships, consulting with key thought leaders, and providing customer insights regarding current and future portfolio needs.
- Assist in the demo of sales teams and distributor teams to understand the customer’s clinical expectations and desired outcomes by providing inputs regarding data workflow, configuration and interface requirements.
- Optimize customers’ workflow in all aspects of CT, CV imaging (contrast media, injectors, informatics).
- Integrate the entire CT portfolio within one clinical supporting function.
- Ensure that the entire organization (marketing & sales teams) are trained on the latest technical developments in MR, understanding various MR pulse sequences and focusing on sequence optimization.
- Provide excellent clinical and customer support for CT, MRI, CV, PET fluid delivery as well as Bayer Cortenic solutions.
- Develop and deliver Informatics Clinical/Product training programs to customers to increase proficiency in the usage of our informatics platform.
- Comply with all relevant pharmaceutical regulations (especially Code of Conduct) and BHC ethical business practices while ensuring complete compliance of all activities implemented.
- Conduct competitor analysis, including collecting and analyzing competitor data, research programs, claims, image optimization and clinical education programs.
- Understand customers by collecting medical imaging (MRI, CT, CCL/PET) research data, analyze customer data and understand their research, clinical needs and workflow, satisfaction, and issues with our products to derive business implications.
- Maximize MRI performance; optimize the MR pulse sequence parameters for MRI systems at customer sites; optimize imaging protocols using our products; utilize Bayer contrast media efficiently and effectively for customers.
- Prepare and train for Clinical Workflow Solution applications and Device Connectivity (Nautilus, Insights 2.0 and Virtual Care).
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- University/College Degree qualifications as Radiographer or Medical Physicist.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working in Radiology.
- Preference given to experience working in CT or MRI departments.
- Experience creating and delivering clinical training programs.
- Experience with Radiology networks, solid understanding of DICOM, HL7, RIS/HIS and PACS systems.
- Detailed knowledge of radiology clinical workflow and ability to work with key customer stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, learn on the fly, and critical thinking required.
- Ability to manage objections and find group consensus.
- Strong self‑motivation, detail orientation, organizational skills and time management required.
- Strong command of English (understanding and responding to internal communication) is required.
