A consulting firm is seeking a finance leader to manage accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance management, particularly in logistics start-ups. They should possess a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and relevant professional qualifications, along with proficiency in SAP and other financial systems. This role is focused on driving profitability and implementing strong internal controls.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of Big 4 experience required.
  • 8+ years of overall finance experience, logistics start-up experience preferred.
  • Broad understanding of business processes, auditing, and internal control concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage All Accounting Division Staff And Operations including billing, A/R, A/P.
  • Provide support for organization financial profitability through actual cost spending monitor.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial accounting reports through accounting process control.
  • Analyze and advise feasibility of capital expenditures proposals.
  • Lead and ensure quality control over financial transactions.
  • Manage and comply with government and regulatory reporting requirements.

  • Manage All Accounting Division Staff And Operations Including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL And Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition And Tax
  • Provide Support For Organization Financial Profitability Through Monitor And Control Actual Cost Spending Against Forecast/budget
  • Ensuring The Accuracy And Correctness Of Financial Accounting Report Through Control The Accounting Process, Review The Monthly General Ledger And Balance Sheet Reconciliation, And Yearly Audit Process
  • Analyse And Advice Feasibility Of Capital Expenditures Proposals From Related Department/management Team, Suggest Alternative Funding, Provide Support To Acquire Approvals From HQ, Monitoring Its Actual Spending And Progress, Control The Project Implementation
  • Lead And Ensure Quality Control Over Financial Transactions And Financial Reporting
  • Manage And Comply With Government And Regulatory Reporting Requirements And Tax Filings
  • Develop And Document Business Processes And Accounting Policies To Maintain And Strengthen Internal Controls
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in accounting/finance with full professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CMA, CA)
  • 5 years of Big 4 experience
  • 8+ years of overall finance experience, logistics start-up experience preferred
  • Highly proficient in SAP, enterprise resource planning (ERP), Business Warehouse and other financial planning systems
  • Broad understanding of business processes, process auditing and internal control concepts
  • Strong analytical skill required to identify risks and opportunities in the business
