Role Summary

Responsible for supporting KMC’s chainsaw chain product development, customer engagement, technical training, and market expansion across plantations, forestry, agriculture, and distributor networks.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical knowledge of chainsaw chains (pitch, gauge, cutter types, bar compatibility, sharpening, lubrication, safety).
  • Conduct product demos, user training, and on-site evaluations with plantations, logging companies, and industrial users.
  • Develop technical feedback reports for R&D to improve product performance.
  • Identify market needs, competitor products (STIHL, Oregon, Husqvarna), and pricing benchmarks.
  • Build relationships with distributors, workshops, and large enterprise users.
  • Support sales in product matching, troubleshooting, and after-sales service.
  • Assist in testing programs, field trials, and data collection.
Qualifications

3–5 years experience in chainsaw chains, forestry equipment, outdoor power tools, or agricultural machinery.

Strong understanding of chainsaw operation, chain specs, bar & sprocket systems.

Ability to communicate technical information clearly to users and distributors.

Fieldwork readiness (site visits to plantations, forestry camps, workshops).

Preferably with experience from STIHL / Husqvarna / Oregon distributors, or plantation equipment suppliers.

Basic understanding of product failure analysis is a plus.

Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; English or Chinese is an advantage.
