Job Description Summary:
Providing financial leadership and strategic support to the commercial team of Taste Elevation Category (Soy, Chili, Adjacencies, & Innovation). Focus on profitability for Taste Elevation and improving control over leading indicators of sell-out.
Responsibilities
- P&L ownership for the Taste Elevation assigned categories, driving profitability by linking external performance (consumption, frequency, penetration) to SISO and P&L outcomes.
- Lead AOP preparation/strategic planning (budgeting) with a focus on profitability growth aligned with the company direction.
- Set KPI/ drivers with the Category and cascade to related business partners.
- Review and sign off on Innovation Business Cases.
- Lead RGM execution for Taste Elevation, seeking synergy between categories (price & pack). Ensure execution aligns with the initial plan’s financial deliverables; analyze sub-category performance and trajectory; advise on relative pricing power by sub-category considering brand equity and competition; optimize PPA curve and pack strategy.
- Act as the business partner for sell-out monitoring with the Taste Elevation team and drive execution with the Sales team.
- Participate as a PODS member (finance lead).
- Address ad-hoc requests for Commercial Performance for Taste Elevation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/ACCA certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a commercial finance-related role in the FMCG industry.
- Strong leadership, self-confidence, and excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical thinking, with data presentation skills.
- Agile with a growth mindset.
