Job summary

An international child-focused NGO is seeking a Campaign Field Representative in Jakarta. This role involves conducting campaigns to engage the public in supporting children's rights initiatives by securing long-term individual donors. A Bachelor's degree is preferable, and candidates should possess strong communication and persuasion skills. The ideal candidate will work directly in public spaces and meet fundraising targets while maintaining data confidentiality. Daily work includes interactions in streets and malls. Job description

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. In Indonesia, Plan International operates since 1969, and in 2017 Yayasan Plan International Indonesia (YPII/Plan Indonesia) was established as a national entity of Plan International in Indonesia. YPII is currently implementing its Country Strategy 5 (CS 5) covering the fiscal year 2023 to 2027, where the country’s purpose is in line with the global Plan International’s Purpose "to advance children’s rights and equality for girls". Our ambition is to enable at least 3 million girls and young people to learn (gain skills for work), lead (empower to take action on issues that matter to them), decide (have control over their own lives and bodies), and thrive (grow healthy and protected from violence). It means that we will take action to identify and facilitate the removal of obstacles that prevent children, especially girls, and young people from enjoying their rights and participating fully in Indonesian society. This goal will be achieved by implementing quality programmes and projects as well as influencing decision-makers and key stakeholders to make the required changes.

Job Purpose

Campaign Field Representative are responsible for carrying out the campaigns of YPII programs in the communities. Supporting organizations by getting individual donors in streets, shopping malls, public transportation stations, etc. Campaign Field Representative invite them to be able to support the YPII programs that focus on children and youth especially girls and young people by becoming long-term individual donors.

Dimensions of The Role

This position will be several parts: Campaign Field Representative.

All position will be the responsibility of manager.

Campaign Field Representative will be the front line in communicating with communities who can be potential donor

Campaign Field Representative required to meet the targets and quality monthly donors.

In this public-facing role, Campaign Field Representative have to uphold the highest standards of integrity and consistent with YPII’s values

Accountabilities
  • Invite the public/communities participate to support the YPII program through becoming long-term individual donor
  • Meet the target, at least 1 donor every day
  • Conducting campaigns or promoting the YPII program to potential donors
  • Work with Team Leader and Senior Team Leader to achieve quantity and quality fundraising targets.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of the data of donors
  • Ensures that Plan International’s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree fresh graduate for any major also welcome to apply

  • Able to get the challenges and target-oriented
  • Having experience in street sales in any field will be an advantageous
  • No issues to be worked as the daily worker for the 1st month
Level of contact with children

Low contact: No contact or very low frequency of interaction

Physical Environment

Based in Jakarta, with work daily in streets, shopping malls, public transportation stations, etc.
