Client Details: Multinational Steel Trading Company

Job Description: Identify, develop, and grow sales opportunities for steel products across assigned markets and customer segments. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and build new relationships with prospects, distributors, and industry partners. Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams (including logistics and operations) to ensure timely order processing and delivery. Monitor customer account activities, including credit, stock levels, and payment follow-up. Prepare and deliver competitive quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals in line with company objectives. Represent the company in meetings with overseas partners and travel within the region as needed for business development. Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and product demand to identify business growth opportunities. Support senior management with reporting on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights.

Qualifications

  • Experience in trading company not mandatory (experience in Japanese/foreign-affiliated companies is a plus)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, international business environment.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally when required.
