Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategy oriented Business Development Manager to lead our revenue growth and fundraising program. This senior role plays a critical part in scaling our environmental and community development impact across Indonesia by driving market development, strengthening supporter relationships, and building fundraising capacity.

We are a non-profit foundation committed to environmental renewal and community empowerment through reforestation and education. Since 2008, we have implemented reforestation efforts across diverse landscapes in Indonesia, supported by an engaged network of local and international partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership & Revenue Growth
  • Create a strategic business development plan and fundraising strategy focused on corporate partners, small businesses and individual donors.
  • Lead sales and marketing planning, including setting measurable targets for revenue, partner acquisition, and brand visibility.
  • Build and manage a fundraising team aligned with priority markets and organizational growth.
  • Collaborate with the Director and Board on development of new business strategies.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports, tracking fundraising performance, market updates, and proposal success.
  • Oversee a content and communications team to ensure compelling, targeted messaging for fundraising campaigns.
  • Lead the development of digital marketing strategies to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborate on the creation of project proposals and ensure alignment of project design, pricing and value propositions with funder expectations.
  • Ensure brand and message consistency across all communication channels and client touchpoints.
  • Establish team KPIs and lead regular performance reviews.
  • Manage supporter recruitment, retention, and satisfaction initiatives.
  • Maintain a shared fundraising pipeline in collaboration with communications and projects teams.
  • Foster direct relationships with corporate stakeholders and key donors.
  • Co‑develop a Donor Care program to improve supporter communication and impact reporting.
  • Market Intelligence & Business Reporting
  • Use insights from digital marketing, sales, and stakeholder feedback to inform decisions.
  • Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to maintain a strategic edge.
  • Oversee CRM systems and donor pipelines for accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Deliver regular business development insights to senior management and the Board.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, fundraising, or marketing with a proven leadership track record.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing digital marketing strategies.
  • Experience managing cross‑functional teams and donor/client relationships.
