Job summary

A leading financial institution in Indonesia is seeking a professional to manage existing client portfolios and prepare efficient credit proposals. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in the banking sector and strong interpersonal skills alongside fluency in English. You will collaborate with various departments and take part in initiatives aimed at minimizing customer complaints while ensuring compliance with internal policies. This role requires proactive engagement with clients to identify their needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Fluency in English for both speaking and writing is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing portfolio through continuous contact and financial analysis.
  • Prepare credit proposals to ensure minimal overdue reviews.
  • Liaise with relevant departments for credit application processes.
  • Conduct periodic meetings with customers to understand their needs.
  • Ensure timely preparation of reports and compliance with policies.
  • Minimize and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare team review presentations covering key metrics.

Business Function

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain existing portfolio, by means of continuous contact, financial analysis, covenant and collateral coverage, by performing a periodical review on the existing customer including analyzing their financial performance, industry, and suitability of products.
  • Prepare credit proposals in timely manner to ensure minimal credit overdue review.
  • Liaise and co-operate with credit, credit administration, legal, trade operation and other relevant department to ensure a seamless process flow for credit application.
  • Periodically meets the customer to update on their condition through call report and to engage further in the relationship by understanding their needs and identifying cross selling opportunities.
  • Ensure all necessary reports/memos are prepared as well as recorded/submitted timely.
  • Ensure compliances with internal and external policies.
  • Minimize and resolve customer’s complaints in timely manner.
  • Participate in process improvement and challenge status quo
  • Construct a team review presentation covering: pipeline, revenue and utilization rate
Requirements
  • University Degree (Business/Economic/Finance/Accounting): If others need to have basic understanding in Accounting.
  • Min. experience of 5 years in related field
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
  • Computer skill (excel, words and power point)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills
