Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Corporate & Employment Advisory
  • Advise clients on Indonesian corporate and employment laws, compliance, and regulatory matters.
  • Provide strategic guidance on workforce management, employment contracts, termination, and dispute resolution.
• Legal Due Diligence (LDD)
  • Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence for corporate transactions, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Identify risks and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
• Drafting & Negotiation
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including employment agreements, corporate contracts, and internal policies.
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client objectives.
• Client Engagement & Advisory
  • Act as a trusted advisor to multinational clients, delivering practical and business-oriented legal solutions.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide timely responses to inquiries.
• Regulatory & Compliance
  • Monitor changes in employment and corporate regulations and advise clients on implications.
  • Assist in implementing compliance programs and internal governance frameworks.
• Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
  • Work closely with partners and other associates to deliver high-quality legal services.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge development and training initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements

• Education & Qualification
  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or equivalent from a reputable university.
  • Licensed to practice law in Indonesia (Advokat license preferred).
• Experience
  • Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a reputable law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Proven track record in employment law, corporate advisory, and legal due diligence for transactions.
  • Experience handling multinational clients and cross-border matters is a strong advantage.
• Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent English proficiency, both written and spoken, for drafting and client communication.
  • Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
