The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, controlling, and directing restaurant employees while ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. He/she is also responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and disciplining staff. A leader in this role will have the ability to be visible in the restaurant operation, provide recognition, promote positive public relations, and handle concerns, or special requests from guests.
