PURPOSE
The Analytical Support Associate/Junior Associate will be responsible for assisting in analytical tasks, conducting data analysis, and providing support to the teams in troubleshooting and resolving analytical challenges for his/her COE assigned technology for the whole Consumer Health division. He/She performs analytical laboratory bench work to support product development, technology transfer, clinical trials, raw material release, reference standard certification, method evaluation, validation and transfer. The Analytical Support Associate/Junior Associate is guided by a senior peer to ensure all timely results are accurate and all activities are documented at a high quality. Major Tasks & Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting analytical tests and experiments using the specific assigned technology.
- Provide support to the team in troubleshooting and resolving analytical challenges.
- Conduct data analysis and interpretation to support decision‑making processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure effective utilization of assigned technology and maximize efficiency.
- Assist in maintaining accurate documentation of analytical procedures, results, and other relevant information.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in lab technology and participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Perform analytical laboratory work to support product development, to help ensure the analytical methods can be validated and are QC friendly.
- Follow written procedures and analytical laboratory practices to ensure the work quality and compliance.
- Accurately and timely document the experiments and results into the notebooks and LIMS (if required).
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology), or international equivalent, with +2 years of prior experience in a technical role within the pharmaceutical or related industry is preferred. Master’s degree or higher, in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology), or international equivalent.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA) and industry best practices related to analytical development and stability testing.
- Knowledge in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, dissolution testing, and spectroscopy.
- Good analytical, problem‑solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly.
- Good in data analysis software and tools commonly used in the lab field.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal. Other languages are a plus.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the lab field.
