This is an exciting time as we make changes to the way we deliver treatment to enhance the care for our patients who are living with and beyond cancer through direct on-site support, which will enhance patient experience, promote continuity, strengthen communication, and enable timely assessment and review of individual needs.
The potholder will work as an autonomous practitioner and provide direct support to patients receiving NSO out-patient care away from their usual, local hospital identifying and addressing any supportive care needs.
The team are based at Weston Park Cancer Centre, but you will be expected to work flexible across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw therefore must be a car driver/owner with a full driving licence valid for the UK. The successful registered nurse will require substantial post registration experience and must be able to demonstrate evidence of working with patients living with and beyond cancer.
We seek a dynamic individual who is keen to support the development of this service; you will need excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
