Join Our Caring Team Female Support Worker Needed

6am-6pm | Three shifts on, three shifts off

Are you someone who brings warmth, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in someone's life? We're looking for a female support worker to join a close-knit care team supporting a gentleman living with progressive dementia. This is a maternity cover position, with opportunities for holiday and sick cover, and the possibility of becoming a long-term team member.

Meet the Client:

Our client lives in his own home and is supported by a dedicated 2:1 care team. His needs vary day to day, and your presence will offer comfort, reassurance, and stability. He enjoys talking about his life and looking at photos of places he's visitedyour time with him will be filled with meaningful moments and gentle companionship.

You'll help with:
  • Personal care, including washing and dressing
  • Medication support, including daily nebulisers and liquid/crushed medication
  • Safe mobility, using a manual wheelchair and mobile hoist (always with a second support worker)
  • Therapy-led activities, guided by his professional care team
  • Promoting independence, choice, and dignity in everything you do

Our client is at high risk of choking and aspiration, so experience or confidence in supporting swallowing difficulties is important. You'll also be working closely with his SALT and therapy teams to ensure his safety and comfort.
