Salary: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a reliable and helpful SEN Support Worker to join a friendly school in Winton. You will provide vital support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to learn and succeed.

About the Role:
You will work closely with teachers to give extra help to students who need it. This includes working one-on-one or in small groups, helping with lessons, and making sure all students can join in class activities.

What You Will Do:

1. Give extra learning support to students with SEN.
2. Help teachers adapt lessons for individual student needs.
3. Support students with their feelings and help them get along with others.
4. Create a friendly and welcoming classroom.
5. Help keep the classroom organised and encourage good behaviour.
6. Track and share how students are doing with teachers.

What’s Needed for This Role:

1. Previous experience as a Support Worker or Teaching Assistant, especially with SEN, in a school.
2. A strong desire to help students learn and do well.
3. Good communication and teamwork skills.
4. Ability to adapt your support based on individual student needs.
5. A CV covering the last ten years (with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
