A supported living company in North London seeks a Female Support Worker to assist women in daily living activities. The role involves personal care, medication administration, and promoting independence. Ideal candidates are energetic, resilient, and emotionally aware, with full training provided. This part-time position offers a competitive pay rate of £12.64 per hour and numerous benefits including 30 days leave and a supported learning scheme for driving.
Shifts - 7:00am–10:00pm, including: 7:00am–2:30pm, 2:30pm–10:00pm and sleep-in shifts (1 per week). You must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including alternate weekends.
We are currently recruiting for a female Support Worker to join a supported living home in New Barnet, North London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-known area, just a short walk from New Barnet Rail Station and close to High Barnet Underground Station (Northern Line), offering easy access across the city.
This is a female-only supported living home for four women aged in their 20s and 30s. The people we support are all independent in different ways and enjoy a wide range of hobbies and interests. Staffing levels range from one to three team members per shift, depending on individual support needs. This includes both 1:1 and 2:1 support, so you should be confident and capable of working independently when required.
The people we support enjoy being socialable and active. Interests include horse riding, swimming, ceramics, drama groups, and volunteering. One woman attends church, and another has a part-time voluntary job. The home has a fun, upbeat atmosphere and is best suited to someone who is energetic, resilient, and has a good sense of humour.
