This established, niche insurer offers a fully remote role, allowing you to work from home every day.

Within 2nd line, you’ll partner with 1st line operations across Claims, Underwriting, and Distribution to support risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring activities.

You’ll oversee and challenge 1st line risk management processes, controls, and decisions related to operational and conduct risk. You’ll support the enhancement and execution of the company’s risk management framework, lead RCSAs, develop risk assessments, and monitor risk appetite with 1st line stakeholders.

You’ll assist in preparing and delivering risk and compliance reports to senior management, Board committees, and regulatory bodies as needed.

This role offers scope for personal development and encourages challenging the status quo to foster a strong risk culture.

We seek an experienced Risk professional from the Financial Services sector, ideally with broad Risk experience across multiple disciplines, including Operational and Conduct Risk. Insurance sector experience is advantageous but not essential.

You should have experience developing risk assessments, executing RCSAs, and possess an analytical mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to learn. Excellent communication skills are essential.
