Insight by Confused.com is a dynamic B2B arm of Confused.com, providing data and analytics solutions to partners in the insurance industry. We empower our partners with actionable insights to optimise their operations, improve customer experience, and drive business growth.

About the role

We’re looking for a highly commercial Account Manager who will be responsible for driving revenue and exceptional service to our insurer partners and beyond. Through effective prospecting, the successful candidate will be expected to deliver additional revenue from both new and existing relationships. We’re looking for an experienced account manager who is passionate about building meaningful and productive relationships, with a strong appreciation of identifying and maximising commercial opportunities.

What you’ll be doing
  • Developing, owning, and nurturing partnerships with enterprise-level organisations.
  • Establishing strong and effective relationships both externally and internally with key stakeholders.
  • Identifying business development opportunities through strong account management.
  • Quickly understanding partner pain points and working to offer practical solutions for improvement.
  • Having accountability for the sales business plan, to include the delivery of budgeted revenue and meeting sales targets.
  • Agreeing and maintaining contractual terms. Negotiations can often be complex and may involve both internal and external legal representatives.
  • Demonstrating excellent commercial awareness of the sector and constructing attractive propositions to win business.
  • Understanding market trading conditions, regulations, and developments in the industry.
  • Reviewing data with an ability to articulate findings.
