Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Tig Welder for a position in Sheffield. Candidates will be responsible for production welding of thin gauge materials and ensuring high-quality finishes. Competitive pay rates of £14.59 per hour for day shifts and £18.25 for afternoon shifts are offered, along with overtime. Opportunities for apprentices with relevant skills are also available.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tig Welder in a production environment.
- Ability to deliver high-quality finishes.
- Skills in assisting with fabrication tasks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct production welding of thin gauge materials.
- Ensure customer-facing finishes meet quality standards.
- Assist with fabrication and related tasks as needed.
Skills
We are seeking an experienced Tig Welder to join our client's team in Sheffield S35, with immediate starts available. The working hours are:
- Monday to Thursday: 6am‑2pm and 2pm‑10pm
- Friday: Split shifts 6am‑11am and 11am‑4pm
Apprentice candidates with relevant skills will also be considered.
Experienced welders: £14.59 per hour (day shift) and £18.25 per hour (afternoon shift) plus overtime.
- Production welding of thin gauge materials
- Delivering high‑quality, customer‑facing finishes
- Assisting with fabrication and other related tasks as required
