Welder / Fabricator

Location: South Lanarkshire

Full Time | Permanent | Day Shift

A well-established manufacturer within the commercial vehicle and specialist equipment sector is looking to recruit Multiple Welder Fabricator's to join their fabrication team at their South Lanarkshire facility.

This is a permanent, workshop-based role, working on the fabrication and welding of heavy-duty vehicle bodies and associated components. The work is varied, hands‑on, and suited to someone who enjoys practical fabrication in a traditional manufacturing environment.

The Role

You will be involved in the fabrication and welding of commercial vehicle bodywork and related equipment, including:

• Fabrication and welding of vehicle bodies and structural components
• Working from engineering drawings to mark out, fabricate, and assemble parts
• Carrying out dimensional checks and drilling to drawing specifications
• Welding using MIG, TIG, or MMA processes
• Using workshop machinery such as guillotines and metal folders
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Working safely within a busy workshop and yard environment

What We're Looking For

• Time served Welder Fabricator
• Welding experience using MIG, TIG, or MMA (all will be considered)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Comfortable marking out and working accurately to measurements
• Reliable, practical, and able to work under own initiative
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Good awareness of Health & Safety in a workshop setting
• Full UK driving licence
