Software Engineer: LabVIEW Development Engineer in Cambridge
Job summary
An innovative high-tech company based in Cambridge, MA is seeking a LabVIEW Development Engineer. The role involves enhancing LabVIEW HMI/GUI software, automating calibration routines, and maintaining existing code. Candidates should have extensive LabVIEW experience, a degree in engineering or computer science, and strong skills in software integration. Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience with LabVIEW development including legacy and refactoring.
- Experience building HMIs/GUIs and developing bidirectional cross platform communications.
- Strong experience in software integration role working with ISO 13485 standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop enhancements to LabVIEW HMI/GUI software.
- Develop Automation for current calibration routines.
- Maintain and improve existing LabVIEW code bases.

LabVIEW Development Engineer is responsible for further development of our current technologies.
- Develop enhancements to LabVIEW HMI/GUI software
- Develop Automation for current calibration routines.
- Develop Enhancements to calibration routines of android
- Maintain and improve existing LabVIEW code bases.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in an engineering or computer science related field.
- 10+ years' experience with LabVIEW development including the following:
- Experience in LabVIEW legacy and refactoring.
- Experience with real-time control systems.
- Experience building HMIs/GUIs.
- Experience in developing bidirectional cross platform communications for data and control
- Experience with remote communications such as RS-232, GPIB and USB protocols.
- Experience with data curve fitting functions.
- Experience in Labview is required for this role
- Strong experience editing and maintaining existing code bases
- Strong experience assembling and troubleshooting basic electrical and mechanical hardware; and electrical instrumentation (oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies etc.)
- Strong experience implementing data-logging
- Strong experience in software integration role working with ISO 13485 standards
