The role involves handling LGPS calculations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing expert support for member queries. Qualifications
- Strong experience working within the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
- In-depth knowledge of LGPS regulations and their practical application.
- Proven ability to manage a pensions team and oversee technical work.

- Lead and supervise Pension Officers and Apprentices, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Handle the full range of LGPS calculations, ensuring accuracy.
- Provide expert support with complex member queries and calculations.

- Experience with Altair desirable (other pensions systems will be considered).
