Production Supervisor | Dorchester | £32,000 per annum

About the Role

Our client, a well‑established manufacturer, is seeking a motivated and hands‑on Production Supervisor to join their production team on a permanent basis.

This is a key role where the successful candidate will lead and inspire a team of operators to produce high-quality products while meeting productivity and cost‑efficiency targets.

Responsibilities

• Leading and motivating a team of flexible operators to produce high-quality products in line with agreed quality, productivity and cost targets
• Collaborating with managers to develop and implement SHE (Safety, health and environment) policies to ensure a safe and accident‑free working environment
• Ensuring that the plant operates at maximum efficiency, maintaining target cycle times and ensuring the work area remains clean and safe at all times
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across safety, product quality, productivity and cost
• Building positive relationships with the manufacturing teams to ensure excellent customer service.
