Come and join us as a Production Team Leader at our Todhills site in Bishop Auckland!
About the Role

As a Production Team Leader at our Todhills site, you will be fully trained to work with our specialised tools and machinery which we use to produce bricks ready for use in the construction industry.

Our Production Team Leaders manage the department and help the team to achieve their production, quality and safety targets.

You will line manage a number of Operators, providing them with technical expertise, supporting their personal development and any areas of improvement.

Duties include:
  • To plan and manage the team on a daily basis
  • Addressing/reporting Health and Safety issues
  • Ensure Health and Safety standards are achieved and that P.P.E. is used where needed
  • Monitor quality in all areas of production
  • Monitor process control reports
  • Plan to ensure all materials and equipment needed is available to run the shift for production
  • Ensure that all paperwork is correctly filled in
  • Work closely with the maintenance department
  • Work with shift leadership and plant management on all aspects of production
  • Assist in the implementation of quality and environmental managementAct as the first point of contact for your team members sickness or absence
Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday, 6.00pm to 4.30am (nights)

About You
  • Experience working as a Production Operative in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with supervision/line management or have transferable skills to offer, such as

  • Demonstratable best practice in relation to health & safety standards
