The Role
We are seeking experienced Gas Engineers to perform domestic gas metering and maintenance as part of EDF’s national smart meter rollout. This customer-facing role requires a motivated, reliable, and technically skilled professional who takes pride in their workmanship.
What’s on Offer
- £38,000 outside the M25
- £39,000 inside the M25
- £500 attendance bonus paid every 6 months
- Productivity bonus: £15 per meter after 30 meters per week
- Optional Saturday work paid at £200 per day

Responsibilities
- Install and maintain domestic gas meters in residential properties
- Ensure all work adheres to safety, compliance, and quality standards
- Work independently using digital tools, smart scheduling, and mobile support
Requirements
- CCN1 and MET1 (or equivalent Gas Safe qualifications)
- Proven experience in domestic gas engineering or smart metering installation
- Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points
