Learning Support Assistant: Inspire Diverse Learners
Job summary
An educational staffing agency seeks Learning Support Assistants in Hawkinge to support young individuals with additional needs such as ASD and ADHD. You will collaborate closely with the class tutor, providing in-class assistance and helping students improve their academic and social skills. Candidates must have a DBS check and possess strong communication skills. This role offers 35 hours of work per week in an inclusive environment.
Qualifications
- Enhanced Child & Adult DBS required.
- Ability to support personal care.
- Experience supporting young people with additional needs.
Responsibilities
- Support young people with complex needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
- Work closely with the class tutor to offer in-class support.
- Help students develop academic, social, and behavioural skills.
