Are you an experienced SEN Tutor looking to make a meaningful difference to young learners in Dartford? Academics is seeking a compassionate, patient, and skilled SEN Tutor to provide high-quality, personalised tuition to students with Special Educational Needs across the Dartford area.

The Role

As an SEN Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver 1:1 or small-group tuition tailored to individual learning plans
  • Support students with a range of needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, learning delays, speech & language needs)
  • Plan engaging sessions that build confidence, independence, and progress
  • Work collaboratively with parents, schools, and local authorities
  • Maintain accurate progress reports and adapt teaching approaches as needed
Requirements
  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
  • A calm, nurturing approach and excellent communication skills
  • Strong behaviour management and differentiation abilities
  • QTS, teaching qualification, or relevant tutoring/educational background
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one through Academics)
