In this position, you will :
- Drive and refine the organisation’s approach to Category Management, Social Value, and Make or Buy strategies
- Play a key role in delivering strategic priorities and the Medium-Term Financial Strategy
- Navigate and interpret legislative requirements — including the Procurement Act 2023 — and translate them into effective policy
- Build strong, trusted relationships with directorates, senior leaders, and Members
- Challenge, advise, and lead change to ensure the organisation achieves maximum value from its significant external spend
