Job summary
A leading logistics firm in Manchester is looking for a skilled logistics manager to drive cost optimization and efficiency improvements. The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree and have over 5 years of experience in the logistics industry, preferably with a background in retail and e-commerce. Key responsibilities include optimizing processes, creating SOPs, and developing training materials. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the logistics and delivery/distribution industry.
- Experience in creating SOPs and process optimization.
- Six Sigma experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Drive cost optimization and efficiency improvements through data analysis.
- Optimize in-station processes such as receiving, sortation, and route planning.
- Create training materials and conduct train-the-trainer sessions.
