VANRATH is supporting the recruitment of a Junior Transport Manager on behalf of a leading company within the Supply Chain sector.
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday. Permanent position based in Randalstown.

Overseeing driver hours, ensuring Working Time Directive compliance, and managing conduct issues
Administering CPC training and updating driver records
Logging and reporting incidents and accidents accurately
Maintaining health and safety training records for drivers
Liaising with insurers to ensure appropriate coverage and incident documentation
Ensuring all waste transfer documentation is complete and compliant
Managing inspection, upkeep, and lease of fleet vehicles
Facilitating the purchase, sale, and disposal of vehicles and trailers
Utilizing digital tools to monitor fleet and manage fuel card systems
Conducting driver inductions and regular licence checks
Ensuring compliance with the company's Operator's Licence requirements
Keeping all waste collection permits and driver docket books up to date
Previous experience in a similar transport or logistics role
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to develop strong relationships with both internal teams and client stakeholders
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Proficiency in IT systems and Microsoft Office
